Siaran Media Merdeka : Pameran Unity & Diversity

KUALA LUMPUR – National Art Gallery (NAG), brings you Merdeka: Unity & Diversity Exhibition, displaying 60 artworks by 22 local artists, centered on the accumulation of Malaysians ‘experiences and nostalgic of the past as well as artists’ new findings of the present ranging from representational, expressionism, folk art with figurative as a subject matter presented in the show. The exhibition is also to express the meaning of Merdeka through inspired artworks by artists from different age, gender, race and backgrounds. The exhibition will also been showcased in Johor Bahru where it will be exhibited at Warisan Johor Foundation, followed by exhibition at KOMTAR, Penang and SACC Mall Shah Alam in order to share with everyone the spirit of independence, unity and diversity.

The exhibition is a collaboration between NAG together with Infinity Logistics & Transport Sdn Bhd – Asian asset based Logistics Company and this exhibition is part of their Corporate Social Responsibility Project to help local artists concurrently celebrate the nation by promoting unity and diversity via art.

The inauguration will be held on 8th August 2017 at 2.30pm and will be officiated by

YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz, Minister of Tourism and Culture Malaysia at Creative Space 3, National Art Gallery.

The exhibition on view from 5th August 2017 until 31st August 2017 at Creative Space 3, National Art Gallery. Admission is free.
