Leon Leong Wai Pung

Leon Leong (b. 1971, Perak) has a creative practice that spans graphic design, interior design, education, and even literature. Since several years, Leon has returned to his true calling as a fine artist. In 2015, he held a breakthrough solo exhibition ‘Optimistic Melancholics’. His narrative compositions inspired by his six-month stay in Istanbul, Turkey were a delicate interplay between the place and its people. ‘Cracks in the Wall’ follows in the spirit of these paintings.
