An artwork that replicates me, you and everyone. Personally, I believe that all the living beings come from nature (earth) and going to it again at the end. In this material world, living beings need and depends on great elements of nature (Panchabutha). ‘Pancha’ (five) always plays important roles in human daily life where these ‘pancha’ not only as five elements of nature. Even the Rukun Negara, Rukun Islam and Khalimah Allah for Muslims, has five elements as well. On the other hand, human senses also divided into 5 main stream. On top of that, my artwork is about five great elements of nature (earth, water, fire, wind and space) in the human body. As we know, all these elements are so important to humans to live. Each and every element has their own workability in human body. Besides, ‘Panchabutha’ work in human bodies in a form of circle. Where we can see every living being in a formation of circle such as seed to plant, human and animals in womb which is circle even universe itself. In the name of clays, ceramic where need all these great elements of nature to make it, these 5 elements always remind and teach me to be humble and down to the earth. From this artwork, I would like to show the importance and respect to this ‘Panchabutha’ as a gift given by Almighty God to every living being in a form of visual art.
